Hi there...

Please don't throw tomatoes at me -- I'm not sure where to find the answer to this question (have searched all over the internet!), so I thought maybe you smart computer people would be able to assist?

If not, it would be MOST helpful if you could direct me to a place that could help.

I'm working on a document in MS Word and have set up some bookmarks. Have them hyperlinked too. When I click on one of the hyperlinks, it DOES go to the place in the document that I've bookmarked, but it WILL NOT open in a new window. The result? My readers will be THROWN into another part of the document and have to find their way back to where they came FROM.

How do I open these bookmarked links in another window?

And by the way, I HAVE gone into the "target frame" area of the Hyperlink area to ask that a new window open up, but it STILL won't do it.

Of note: The hyperlinks that lead outside of the document (to a website) DO open in a new window.

Many, many thanks for saving me AND my hair (which will be completely yanked out and gone in no time!). ;O)
